Alagille Syndrome is a rare genetic condition that affects multiple organs and systems within the boddy, including the liver, heart, bones, hearing and vision.

For our patient Nikki Lee, having Alagille Syndrome has meant a lifetime in and out of hospital seeking care from a wide range of medical specialist.

Austin Hospital at times has become a second home for Nikki, who has received care as a liver transplant, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, ENT/head and neck, haematology, neurology and orthopaedic patient.
