HAPPY HOBBY

Singing, listening to music and/or writing a song with meaningful messages can enhance your emotional, mental, social (karaoke anyone?), physical, and spiritual well-being. These activities can provide joy, comfort and a deeper connection to God, yourself and/or others. It’s also a form of activity for the singer (good voice or not) or listener to express their thoughts and feelings (emotions). And this has been true for me since I was a school girl. I sing in the shower and listen to music to feel the feelings of the wordings, and I have written songs for myself to express my own emotions and experiences. Hence, I made the Happy Hobby section of this site. To share songs that may be used as medicine for the soul, mind and body.

Greatest Love of All

“Greatest Love of All” delivers a message of self-empowerment, resilience (overcoming adversity), and the importance of loving yourself as it is one of the foundations for a fulfilling life. It encourages listeners to believe in themselves and to pass on these values to others, especially the next generation of girls and boys. More importantly, we have a God who loves and believes in us, and this alone calls for self-compassion and self-respect. And speaking of believing in yourself, this is my brave attempt at covering (acapella style) this song.

What A Friend We Have in Jesus

This song was originally written by a preacher, Joseph M. Scriven and here is my cover of it.
